How do I get stencils (paste layers) out to PDF or some vector format?

In other words, I wanna laser cut my own stencil, but how do I get some sort of vector of my board paste layers out of kicad? (I’m like a total noob)

Oh, I said I was a noob. I guess using the “PDF” format option might work.

In PCBNew, the “File” > “Plot” drop-down lets you create *.SVG, *.HPGL, *.DXF, and *.PS (postscript) files as well as Gerber files, of any layer you select. Does your laser cutter respond to any of these formats?
