How can I delete all tracks and vias of the board?

How can I delete all tracks and vias of the board?

In other words, how this “Delete Items” (Edit > Global deletions > Tracks and vias) should work? This seems not to be working.

I am using the right tool? Am I doing something wrong? It is doing nothing for me. I cannot delete tracks with it.

Could be a bug related to your specific project? If you can upload it (or a version where you’ve removed any secrets but retained this behavior) other people with different platforms can double check.

I’m able to use the tool as intended on all of my miscellaneous projects.

FWIW, I always use the selection filter, tracks and vias, select the entire board, hit delete and they are gone.
Anyways, the ‘Delete Items’ tool should work…

Predates selection filters.

Anyways, I am using the latest Kicad on Linux.
Which version, also you are using it on MacOS right which may work a bit differently.

I cannot share the project, unfortunately, but I will try to generate a small version of the problem that I can share.

Using this Kicad I am finding some usability issues that are not stoppers but annoying, to say the least, and I feel those always happen on Linux, or maybe I am fine tunned with Kicad since I am using it for so long that I can find those issues easier.
