How can I change an object layer?

lets say that I draw those lines (pads or whatever) in the wrong layer, and I want to change the layer without redrawing them back, do I have a way to do this?

on cad software and many others I can just select the incriminated objects, then right click the desired layer, and make change object layer or something similar, but here it does not look like it’s possible to do the same

First: Select the items you want to move to another layer.
Second: PCB Editor / Edit / Edit Text & Graphics Properties

Then, in the dialog, make sure to:

  1. In the Scope, enable the checkbox for PCB graphic Items.
  2. The filter for Only include selected items must be on.
  3. In the Action section, select the layer to where you want to move your graphics to.
  4. Depress the OK button.

this option Edit Text & Graphics Properties does not exist under edit

but double clicking a line it looks like I can change the layer of the selected line, but it doesn’t look like I can group edit them or doing a multiple selection and then edit them in one time

Another method, which is useful for a few thin objects like lines, is to click sweep from right to left over the line with the mouse, which selects any object partly within the rectangle. Once the line is selected as indicated by end handles, type e to edit its properties.

Schematic Editor? → PCB Editor

And certainly it’s under the Edit menu, or did you randomuser try to find it in the schematic editor?
