Hole clearance violation?

I’m getting a “Hole clearance violation” that I don’t think should happen.

I’m routing a BGA; There is a via-in-pad at one pad (labeled “GND_REF” in the image). The adjacent pad has a trace entering from the right side. If the incoming trace width is “too wide” I get a “Hole clearance violation” due to the trace “rounded end” being too close to the via drill (even though the trace “rounded end” doesn’t leave the pad metal).

If I reduce the width of the incoming trace, the violation goes away (see image “No_violation”).

The spacing between the pad and via hole are the same… How can I adjust the rules to allow the wider trace to be used and not get the violation?

Thanks!
