Hi-Res 3D Image of PCB

Hey there, has anyone an idea how to get a hi-res rendering of my PCB? When exporting a picture from the 3D viewer the maximum resolution is the screen resolution and if I export it as .step to render the PCB with Blender, I don’t see the silk screen (and I basically have no experience working with Blender^^). Is there any easy way?

But in pcbnew there’s File->Export->VRML, can’t you use that and open it with blender?

Blender is certainly the most versatile option, though it would be great if there were something comparable with StepUp for Blender, as was suggested in the bug report.

But doing it inside KiCad is even more desirable now when kammutierspule added more lightning options to the 3D view raytracing.

Ah, thanks! The work around posted in the issue works more or less for me for now.
