I’m not interested in this class. I just have to pass it. Would someone else please do my work for me?
Passing a class means you’ve mastered the subject to a sufficient degree. Having someone else do your work for you means you don’t deserve a passing grade.
If I had sufficient info to do so, I’d report this to the OP’s instructor. I’m pretty sure this would be considered cheating.
You’re probably a young person and been on this world for a short while ( less then 20 years, and less then 10 of that being conscious and aware of things further then a few km away).
The world is not a static place. It changes constantly and in an ever quicker pace. If you’re getting classes that use KiCad, you’re probably in some technical / engineering school, and even if you are now not planning to do more with schematics or PCB layout, if you’re planning to do any sort of engineering concerning electrical stuff, having a decent bit of knowledge about engineering that are somewhat close to your “real” job may help in getting a job and/or communicating with colleagues who do this sort of job.
It’s also rare to get the exact job you’re learning for or are interested in. Up to some degree you have to make do with what’s available at the right time and place.
So if that’s the way it is, then make a deal with your class mates.
If’ you’ve got 19 of them, then each of you does 1/20’th of the work in sequence, you distribute it among yourselves and each gives the same project to the teachers.
It reminds me of school myself.
At some point in school we had to do public speeches for the classroom, and those got graded by the students themselves. As a result the grades that were given mostly depended on the popularity of the student and had not much to do with either the content of the speech or the way it was presented. I was not a very popular guy at school, but I had an Idea, So I bought a box of chocolates and I distributed it among my fellow students near the end of my speech. I had one of the highest grades for my speech.
I did not even do it for the higher grade. I did not care much for grades at school, but I was offended by the inequality of the system, so I distributed the chocolates under the nose of the teacher to make it clear to him how unfair this way of grading was.
Probably I should say nothing and mind my own business but, seeing too many (modern-day) folks and reflecting on my 50 yrs of Engineering and Management prompts me to say:
Success in flipping hamburgers doesn’t require good Neural Path connections. Succeeding in the Engineering world does require it.
I’ve moved far too many inadequate-engineers and technicians out of engineering and into Quality Control (unless I fired them). They either found a home in QC or realized they chose the wrong profession.
To be successful in Technology, good Neural connections lead to good problem solving skills and good problem solving skills lead to success in many aspects of life.
People that demonstrate a lack of curiosity and investigative interest wouldn’t get in the front door of the building. It shows on them like an ugly photo on a books cover. Experienced interviewers can see this in a heartbeat with only a few questions.
I get the impression this is more about the cosmetics and not the actual design. English is probably not the OP’s native language so I didn’t try and get too much detail.
Probably not even in EE classes. But we all had classes that we really hated to be in but had to take them. Right?
I hated primary school music lessons. At that time, I also went to piano lessons outside of school. Years later, my mother admitted that sending me and my brother to play the piano was a big mistake. I have the first type of hearing - I can tell when they are playing and when they are not
Math and physics were my favorite lessons.
I’m 21 and I’m in UFT university in Plovdiv,Bulgaria,I love my job im getting paid good and this class has nothing to do with it,I’m just trying to pass,I’m not enjoying it,so I just want to get this over with
I am curious why you are studying something you don’t like. Why didn’t you choose something that suits you?
At the time when I was studying (Poland in the 70s and 80s) the answer would have been obvious - it was necessary to get involved in order not to be drafted into the army, but nowadays there is no such problem, I think. Is it still the case in Bulgaria?
Designing electronics is a much more interesting activity. 50 years ago I thought this was the most interesting thing to do, but now I don’t know if genetics or astronomy are getting more interesting.
Take is as a opportunity to learn and not expect others to do the work for you. You will find many many challenges over your career. Some you will love and some not so much but it’s how you handle and learn from them that defines you.
I’ve also been in the industry for way longer than I can remember and you continuously have to learn new things whether you like them or not, to stay relevant.
I was glad to retire. I was sick of disposing of the old technology and embracing the new.
So what do I do in retirement… I dispose of the old technology and embrace the new.
