Help, board text can't be selected

Hi,

I’ve been modifying a board created by a friend and needed to add some text to the board, which I have done in the F.Silkscreen layer.

However for some reason that I cannot work out the text has become surrounded by a purple box and won’t let me select either the text or the box?

Any idea what has caused this?

Could it be locked? Enable selection of locked objects in the selection filter panel, bottom right.
