Gtk_box_gadget_distribute: assertion 'size >= 0' failed in GtkScrollbar

I have just created an issue on gitlab about failed assertions, and then I realized that the Linux Mint I use is not officially supported.

Therefore It would be nice if another Linux user can verify and amend that issue.

The issue I opened on gitlab is:

Steps to reproduce are very simple:

  1. Start KiCad from the command line.
  2. Open Preferences / Preferences

It does not matter if Preferences are opened from KiCad Project window, Eeschema, Pcbnew, Footprint Editor or Symbol editor. Just opening the Preferences window spits out over 50 errors.

I’ve copied the error messages and Full KiCad version (V5.1.6) in the Gitlab issue.

I see these all the time on debian buster, these are not errors but warnings. wxGtk is far from perfect.
