Ground plane issue

I am making a fuzz pedal for a friend based on a schematic and case I found online however I’m running into the “Missing connections between zones” for the GND plane on the back copper of my PCB layout.

I based my project on this website: ElectroSmash - You can Build the Perfect Germanium Fuzz Face and I have attached a PDF of my schematic

Fuzz Pedal.pdf (121.3 KB)

Right now with the way I have my PCB setup, it is all interconnected to one GND plane, however at J4 there is a split between the edge cuts layer due to the shape of the board, I’ll provide two pictures for more clarification.

To get rid of this error, do I need two separate grounds? One on the Switch SW1 side and the other towards the input bias?

I made the board this shape to fit in the original enclosure they used to replicate the project since they no longer sell it on their website.

KiCad does not have support for multiple PCB’s in one project, or for a panel which results in multiple PCB’s. The best way around is probably indeed to use different GND (and power?) nets in your schematic.
