Grid and Origin issue - components not aligning to grid

Hi,

I have been working on a PCB and I had a predetermined grid origin - everything aligned on this grid however now when i try place items on the grid they get offset: see the via. Even when I try and replace the grid origin it comes a little offset so this means everything else becomes instantly off grid. Has anyone faced this how can i fix it?

In this image originally drill origin and grid origin were aligned. After I replace the the grid origin there is some offset as I cannot place it in the exact spot it used to be.

It’s a little hard to try and help if you don’t even say what version you are on . . . please tell us.

Do this . . . .

Can you paste your full version info here please, you can get it from KiCad > Help > About KiCad > Copy Version Info
