I just tested it with print. I just grabbed a .png I had. I dragged the corners to make it much smaller. I will not say that the results are great but technically it did “work.”
Note I used print command to make a .pdf and not plot command. I usually prefer plot because the text is machine readable text rather than just an image.
Why not try printing to .pdf? I use Foxit Version: 9.7.2.29539. Newer versions no longer can create a .pdf. I think that KiCad may find a default .pdf printer, which could be Microsoft. I find that Microsoft print to .pdf creates a large file size. The other thing to try is to plot to .pdf or perhaps plot to your brother printer?
Has any solution to the printer problem in Windows 10?
Graphics also do not come in print preview.
If I print from an Ubuntu installation then graphics are printed!
It is a little annoying to transfer Schematics to the Ubuntu computer every time I need to print!
Hoping for a solution.
Thanks in advance
Michael.
