Gradual transitions or tapered traces

I would like to design a rigid-flex pcb assembly. In my research I’ve found that to minimize the stresses in rigid to flex are is to taper the trace width with a gradual transition. Is there a way in Kicad to create traces with gradual transitions or tapered traces?

Not at the moment, but there is a patch which allows you to create arbitrary pad shapes:

You can create tapered pads to use as connectors between the wide tracks and the narrow tracks.
