GND island not connected to the GND plane but no ERC error

Hi guys,
I stumbled over two pcbs where a few pads where not connected to GND and ERC had no error specifically for that missing connection.
There are missing thermal relief connections mentioned by ERC though.

The upper GND pads are connected to a small island of the GND plane which is not connected to the rest of the plane.

I alsways use two layered pcbs with large GDN planes on both sides that are stitched together with the via plugin.
The only error or warning I got was for the thermal relief check.
What could cause this?

Tested with 8.0.8 and 9.0.2

Without the project it’s only guessing in the dark.

My guess: you have disabled the “errors” checkbox in the DRC dialog window.

And what happened with connection lines?

The errors were not disabled in the dialog.
Well… I noticed that I had three different Kicad installations on my disk. I deleted everything, installed 9.0.2 and added my libs. Now I get message for the missing connection.
Edit: three different version. But this shouldn’t be an issue, right?

That was the weak point of my guess.

It’s DRC. ERC is for schematics.
