GerbView Grid Spacing 0.0250mm and 0.0100mm Don't Work

I need to make some fine measurements in GerbView and when I select either 0.0250mm or 0.0100mm, neither of them work. The smallest grid spacing that I can select is 0.0500mm. Am I missing something obvious? Has anyone run into this before?

KiCad Version: (5.1.2)-1, Release Build
Platform: Windows 8 (build 9200), 64-bit edition
