I just noticed that grid color cannot be set in gerbview. I have tried to set to lines instead of dots as I’m used to, then change the grid color to 48, 48, 48 like in PCB layout or footprint editor. I get this:
Here is how it looks like in the PCB window.

By the way, I was thinking about these settings: does it make sense to have separate settings in MCB layout, footprint editor and Gerber viewer? I’m aware that too many settings is certainly better than no setting at all, but I suppose that people most likely use the same settings in these 3 different environments. Similarly, I suppose that people use the same settings in schematic and symbol editor. That said, I’m also aware that this is a minor issue and I can live with it.
This seems to be a software related bug. I would recommend you to report this bug to the Kicad support team.
