I have a question about generating the kind of a trace that an arrow is pointing to, is it possible to
achieve that in Kicad 8? Thanks!
Just draw a zone where you want it.
And set the zone connection type to “solid”.
If this is a new project you might want to consider going up to V9 first.
You could do one zone, or you could do multiple overlapping zones with the same net connection. I have done both.
