I thought it was good to say that I am happy with KiCAD.

I have made a couple of contributions myself, as some of you might remember and I appreciate the enormous amount of work that has gone into the development of KiCAD and its libraries.
The addition of running Spice simulations directly from the schematic in EEschema had a bit of a learning curve (I wrote about that earlier), but I am now using it frequently.
Same here, KiCAD has been my portal to hobby EE and I’ve learned a ton thanks to it. This community rocks, having an issue with any component and seeing it answered/solved only a few hours later is priceless when learning a new skill (not an EE professional, just designing w/ KiCAD as a hobby)
