The fundraising column has disappeared from the main page of the site. I think that for the development of the project, it is necessary or possible to open an additional collection. Or is everything so good that nothing is required?

Donations are always possible. There is a Donate menu on the top right side of the KiCad website. But in addition to that, each year there is a donating campain combined with some sponsoring events (some sponsors double donations in certain time frames) at the end of each year (or starting a short time before the new mayor KiCad version is released). And that campaign lasts until the donating goal is reached.
Can it be extended or increased? It is not clear what is happening.
