Footprints in Kicad 5

Hello everyone. Do you know how to change the footprints links to Github in Kicad? I installed the latest version (5.1.4) and I tried to update the link {KIGITHUB}. I added some links to libraries to Kicad repository (https://github.com/KiCad/kicad-footprints) but in the footprint screen in Kicad I see no elements. Why it doesn’t work?

We dropped the support for the github plugin for the official lib. (your own libs can still use it)
