Today a change was pushed to the KiCad source repo that effects the way footprint pad solder mask and solder paste layers are generated. The change will only impact footprint pads that do not have any copper layers. If you have defined any footprint pads without any copper layers, please see the announcement on the KiCad website to avoid future issues when creating board plots.
