I was using Eagle since many years and then i installed KiCad. There is a problem with my installation.
When i draw a schematic the ic’s do not show the footprint on the layout screen. What am I doing wrong?
Sadly, you are mistaken in your belief that KiCad will behave like Eagle, or in fact any other ECAD system. You should work through the tutorial to understand the workflow:
