Hi.
I am not sure if this should go here but…
I have used Kicad for many years now and have seen some great progress in that time.
One big wish for me is the “find” command should be the same in PCB editor and schematic designer. I think that historically it used to be the same in both, and PCB editor retains this command. “T” opened a message box then the compnent is entered and found as if by magic. (Presumably T comes from the French origins of Kicad as in “Trouvez”.) In Schematic editor it is now Cntrl+F! Why?
Is there any chance of getting them both to have the same command for “find”? One less command to remember!
T in the layout editor is Get and Move Footprint, not Find. T in the schematic editor is Add Text. Ctrl-F is Find, common to all tools. This is v7. What’s the problem again? What version do you have?
