Filled polygon is not filled in plotted DXFs

I’ve been switching from eagle for a month now.

I have a part that contains polygons/rectangles that are set to fill, but when I plot the dxf, they apparently do not fill.

This seems to occur in both version 8/9

Also, can’t output layers in HPGL output? It would be nice to be able to set the pen settings for each layer, but it doesn’t seem to be possible, so let’s hold out for dxf.

Wait, DXF can’t be filled, as I remember?

in any case, the lack of pen selection in the HPGL output is very disappointing.
its an old format and probably not worth supporting.
it would be nice if they would just add a “Pen Settings” button.
