Filled area okay in Kicad, wrong layer in exported .dsn

Hi. New to KiCad, many years PCB layout experience.

If I place a filled area on the Bottom copper layer of a 2-layer board, and produce Gerbers, everything works normally. However, if I export the layout in Spectra format (.dsn file), the filled area ends up on the Top copper layer in my autorouter (freerouter as well as Konekt demo). Opening the .dsn file with Notepad confirms that regardless of the layer selected when placing the fill, it is assigned to the Top copper layer. If I manually edit the .dsn to place the fill on the B.cu layer, the file imports and displays correctly in the autorouter. Again, the fill shows up correctly in the PCB editor as well as in the Gerbers.

Is it me?

There might be an issue with how the Spectra format is handling filled areas in KiCad. One possible solution to this problem could be to manually set the layer for the filled area in the layout editor before exporting the Spectra file.
