It was mentioned that external plugins tend to malfunction as KiCad changes its API and file formats.
For that reason, I’ve added an issue template to the list of KiCad third-party tools so these malfunctions can be reported and noted in the list for others to see before using.
It might also be worthwhile to mention whether plugins work with Python2, Python3, which OS they work with, Windows, macOS, and linux, and which release versions of KiCAD (the latest compatible or range is probably sufficient). Not sure if this all takes too much room, but as an author, these are what I want my plugin to be tested against.
