Exiting measure tool

Wasn’t sure where to post this, it’s not a feature request more a mild inconvenience.

In the PCB and Footprint editor, you can’t exit the measure tool with the Esc button. When selecting any other tool from the right hand tool menu you can exit the tool by hitting Esc, reverting to the cursor tool (Select item(s)).

In order to exit the measure tool you need to select a different tool, Esc does not work.

Hmm? Works for me in v8.0.9.

At this point ESC deletes the ruler and reverts the cursor to select mode.

Upgrade to 9.0.3. It may well be fixed in that version. See The PCB measuring tool cannot be turned off normally at certain times (#21016) · Issues · KiCad / KiCad Source Code / kicad · GitLab.

Thanks.

I did do a search, but obviously not in all the right places.
