I am manually generating the SymbolLibraryFile by referring to the official manuals for SymbolLibraryFileFormat and S-ExpressionFormat.
I also referred to the SymbolLibraryFile that KiCad converted from the legacy format.
My question is, the Symbol Library File converted by KiCad contains the line “(exclude_from_sim no)”.
What does this “exclude_from_sim” mean?
I couldn’t find an explanation in the official manual.

Probably “Exclude from Simulation”. Meaning the symbol is ignored while doing ngSpice simulations.

I see, so that means excluding it from the SPICE simulation.
If I don’t plan to run a SPICE simulation and the process involves drawing a circuit diagram and creating a PCB layout, then the “exclude_from_sim no” setting is fine. Thank you very much.
