Hi,
I have a problem with the ESSEMTEC CSM7000+ pick & place machine. Everything was fine, I could easily pick elements and place tchem into PCB. Then for about 2 months the machine stood unused. I wanted to start production today … and bummer! The head does not put a single element on the PCB.
It looks like this as if a laser could not recognize the size or position of the element taken. I started digging in this direction and here are my observations:
1. As soon as I start the device and enter the options/debug, and then click “check” in section from the laser, I get such a result:
According to the instructions “Maintance & Service” this chart should fit between two white lines and be as narrow as possible. Here, as you can see, it’s far from ideal.
However, it is enough that I gently move the whole head and then it looks like this:
I can say it’s perfect. Of course, I do not mean moving the head with my hand. It’s about moving it from the program.
You might think that something is losing contact somewhere, but rather not. This “perfect” condition lasts then all the time, regardless of movements of the head. The condition deteriorates after re-off and turning on the machine.
Perhaps this is a normal situation and I only noticed it today. I will not give a head for it.
2. In the same place, in the debug options, I can turn on the “Debug Info” window. In this window, the “Data Angle 2” error appears when attempting to place the element on PCB. This is a point of attachment. Unfortunately, I can’t find any information what it could mean and how to deal with it.
Maybe someone has knowledge in these matters and can lead me where to look for a solution to a problem?
I would also like to solve the secret, what could happen while not using the machine, that now there is such an error.
PS.: Full error record in the attachment.
