I’m a totally noob when the subject is importing a 3D model in your own footprint. When trying to insert into the footprint and after I align the 3D with the footprint the following error occurs: "Footprint name may not contain "% $ ‘tab’ ‘return’ ‘line feed’ ‘space’ \ " /: " ".
Renaming the 3D file doesn’t change this. Any ideas?
It says “footprint name”, not 3d model name. Your screenshot is very conveniently cut just above the footprint name (“Library reference”) so that we can’t immediately see if there’s something wrong in it.
Oh, I’m sorry, now I got it, the name of the footprint had a space. Tnks for the help.
