I have created a footprint for an enclosure in User Layer 2. The footprint is meant as guidance for the board dimensions and to see where the mounting holes and connectors have to go. When I load the enclosure in the PCB editor it is shown as expected but the area is colored purple. What is happening?
Note: the enclosure is drawn with the thin blue line, barely visible due to the purple fill.
I’ve tried with all layers turned ON/OFF, the purple filling remains.
Locked object?

If you’ve locked that footprint, it’s probably: Appearance Manager / Objects (tab page) / Locked Items Shadow. You can turn on/off the display of this purple “shadow” independently from other settings.
