Enabling / disabling multiple layers at once

Hi,

When routing a PCB, I find it usefull to switch between 2 sets of active layers (all others need to be deactivated).

Front editing:

  • TOP
  • Edge.Cuts
  • F.CrtYrd
  • F.Fab

Back editing:

  • BOTTOM
  • Edge.Cuts
  • B.CrtYrd
  • B.Fab

It would be great if I could assign a button or a shortcut to this process of switching the active layers.

Is there a function already available in Pcbnew to do this?
Is there a script/external plugin available for this?
Can this be done with a script or a plugin?

There’s this plugin, https://github.com/HiGregSmith/LayerViewSet, by @HiGreg, but I don’t know how well it works or if it’s up to date.

Try right clicking / ctrl clicking on a layer. Might be sufficient for your needs?

I just updated LayerViewSet to work with the current release build.
