Empty .emp file

Hello,
I’m a new user of Kicad, and I find it very interesting and powerful.

When I export IDFv3 from the PCB Editor,
the cad generates the .emn file and the .emp file.
The .emn file is OK, while the .emp file is empty.
Anyone knows the correct procedure to generate a .emp
file that is not empty, and contains mthe right component information?

To get a populated .emp file you need to have a 3d library of emp models to be assigned to the footprints of your pcv file.
I don’t know if there is a free library of emp models…
I think @cbernardo Cirilo made a library for common components
