When drawing a schematic each net which is not explicitly assigned a name is given an automatic name by the system.
However I could not find a way to display these names (e.g - when I worked in Orcad clicking on a wire would display its net name in the status bar).
Am I missing something - is it possible to see these net names?
You can see them in PCBNew. At least in the nightly builds. Given the naming convention I’m not sure what use this would be in Eeschema though.
I’ve thought about doing the naming in my next design. Net-(R10-Pad1) doesn’t mean a lot in terms of an overall circuit.
I suspected this is the case.
I saw in the nightly builds that the next version will include the posssibility to highlight an entire net - this will reduce the need for what I was asking.
