Editing filled zones in OpenGL glitch

I enter openGL mode (F11) to fine tune traces and filled zones in PCBNew. When I select a filled zone, the handles to that zone become available. About 90% of the time I can click and drag the corners with no problem and shape the filled zone to my hearts desire. But every once in a while, without warning, suddenly when I click a corner, the screen jumps to center on the mouse and the corner gets dragged across the board. Then when I left click the board, the whole board view moves instead of just a corner all while the filled zone gets mangled. I have to switch to Canvas view and then back to OpenGL view to make this stop, and that doesn’t always work. What is happening? How do I prevent this? Is there some setting I am unaware of? I am using the stable release.4.0.7.
