Edit design rules with script

Hey !

I was wondering if it is possible to edit design rules like clearance with a script without changing the value directly in the menu “Design Rules” ?

I believe so, but you’d have to go through the KiCad object model to find out the specifics.

I had started a project to read from a file, but have not got to the point of modifying any design rules in KiCad.

I’m pretty sure this topic has come up before. Being able to save ‘house rules’ between designs would be useful.
