I can not seem to find a dual pot symbol / footprint that allows you to split its two halves… much like can be done with a dual opamp. In my schematic the two halves are operating some distance apart… and it looks rather untidy (and difficult to read) as a result.

How about two pots. Label one “A” and one “B”.
Maybe join them with a dashed line?
If you are worried about confusion with Log. and Lin. tapers, call them X & Y.
Hmm, only took me a few moments to find this in the standard symbol library:
It has A and B units.
Footprints are more varied so I’ll leave that to you. Maybe 2 rows of 3 pads.

Re-arrange the schematic to make it easier to understand?
A dashed line from one sweep to the other was once a useful and recognised method.
