Is there a Dual Mosfet IC symbol in Kicad 9 ?
If there is, I can’t find it!
Just make it yourself.
There are several, in Transistor_FET. They start with Q_Dual_.

Use the top of the library tree view to search - this includes name, footprint, description and the “keywords” field:

Incidentally, in the Symbol Editor, the “Show Grid” does not appear to do anything? I imagined it would show a light grid overlaid on the sheet.
Have you checked grid size?
Yes as shown.
Just shows centre crosshairs.
OK after much fiddling Got the grid to show.
For now I’ll assume your fiddling about in a bit of a different way then Uncle Ernie.
This doesn’t help explaining how you managed to get the grid to show. Future readers, with a similar grid problem, may be interested in your solution.
Unfortunately, it took a little time, but all at once I could toggle the grid, On/Off, with the left mouse button ?
Not really sure as why it worked all of a sudden
