I’ve got a bunch of footprints that originated on SnapEDA.com - they seem pretty nice and I’ve used them successfully in the past, but there is a strange issue: They implement slotted pads by inserting a rectangular edge-cut within a normal oval pad. This seems to work fine at OSHpark, but it causes a DRC violation “Track too close to board edge”. It also prevents the zone fill from connecting to the pad and I have to manually drop a trace across the gap to complete the connection.
Is there any consensus on a better way to handle this?
