I have a board that lets me generate DRC errors by dragging a track to the left.
When always showing the clearance it is clear that the 2 tracks are too close.
When I drag the rigth track away, the DRC errors dissapear.
When I then drag the track back to this position, the DRC error re-appears.
I’ve attached the offending board:
DRC_drag_too_close_ERROR.kicad_pcb (74.4 KB)
Edit:
Seth confirmed it as a bug, but it may have already been fixed in V5.1.2.
Installing newer versions of programs than my Linux Package manager gives me is quite a nuisance for me. Can someone with V5.1.2 (or newer) installed please open the board, draw the right track to the right (DRC errors should dissapear), and then drag it to the left again to see how far it goes.
