DRC error - Solder mask aperture bridges

I have a footprint in which I don’t want solder mask between the two pads. Therefore I’ve drawn a polygon in the F.Mask layer between the pads.

This gives me a DRC error:

I don’t want to turn off that DRC rule, because it makes very much sense in other places of the board.

Is there a way to get rid of the DRC error on these footprints, other than Excluding the errors in the DRC dialog? The distance between these pads is 1.8 mm. Is there a way to allow Solder Mask Aperture Bridges if the distance between the nets is > 1 mm?

It’s not a big problem to exclude these errors. I’m just curious to see if there are other ways.
