DRC: Board has malformed outline (arc has null or very small size: 0mm) - can not delete

Hi,

after running DRC check on PCB I get the error-message “Board has malformed outline (arc has null or very small size: 0mm)”. Unfortunately I can not delete the element under consideration, even after playing around with the Selection Filter (because I don’t know which filter setting may help to grab the element), because I can not select it.
The PCB’s shape is solely created inside KiCad, i.e. board outline is not imported.

Please refer to figure below:

I have upgraded the PCB from Kicad V7 to V8 to V9.02. It seems that the little arc have been already on Edge.Cuts layer in the original PCB created with V7, but I don’t remember having seen this error at this time (and PCB manufacturing was possible without problems).

How can I select this tiny arc so that I can rid off the error message?

Your support in appreciated
Kilian

First, KiCad V9.0.3 has been released over a week ago, and if you are on KiCad V9, you should also keep up with the bug fix updates (Third digit in KiCad’s version number).

All check marks in the selection filter in the lower right corner are on, so you should be able to just drag a small box around the arc and delete it.
