Drawing wires on both sides of the PCB board

Hi

I had to make a PCB board that contained many devices. For better understanding, I had given wires in both front side (F.cu) and backside (B.cu) of the same PCB board. Will this create any problem when I give this board to the manufacturer? Is it necessary that one has to draw wires only on one side of the board and not both?

Most manufacturers will make double sided boards, and they will use F.cu for copper on the top layer, and B.cu for copper on the bottom layer.

Some manufacturers may only be able to do single sided boards, others may do 4 copper layers or more. It depends on what you order, and who you order it from.

For a good PCB design there are many more considerations then just “drawing wires” until the DRC errors go away.

If you want to draw graphic items that do not get onto your manufactured board, then the Dwgs.User is an excellent layer. (Or any of the other .User layers).
