Draw rectangle tool

Is a problem on my machine or the “Draw rectangle” tool has become a draw SQUARE tool?

Application: KiCad PCB Editor x86_64 on x86_64

Version: 8.0.6-8.0.6-0~ubuntu24.04.1, release build

You probably asked KiCad yourself to change draw rectangle into draw square by setting “Constrain actions to H,V, 45 degrees”.

it doesn’t seem the case, but maybe i’ve pressed some ‘pesky’ keyboard shortcut :smile:

…it would actually be useful to look in the correct menu :slight_smile:

“Shift-Space” will toggle between constrained and unconstrained. :slight_smile: Easily hit by accident!
