hi there. I’m having a problem where nearly every time I go to drag a component, I click to select it, then the component properties menu opens… It’s making me insane and adding so much wasted time. once in a while it does it correctly, but 90% of the time the menu opens. I’m on a mac, monterey 12.2.1. Does anyone know how to fix this? it is so frustrating.

Don’t click.
Hover over selection then use G or M hotkey. Schema will then move symbol. PCB, you need to hold LMB down when moving after hover and hotkey.
Prob only happens in PCBnew, not schema. what do you mean by LMB?
