When I drag wires to edit a schematic, Kicad makes the wires go diagonal. How do I stop this?
I never see this when routing the wires in the first place. It’s Kicad 6.0.6. Thanks.
Don’t drag a corner. Go to a middle of a wire segment and drag from there (press G). It goes to the nearest endpoint (corner) and starts dragging h/v.
Version 7 (now in the development version 6.99) will behave a bit differently: it tries to keep h/v orientation and creates extra segments to achieve that when dragging from a corner.
