Doubling tracks in OpenGL

I was working on a design with high surge currents today, so I wanted to have wide tracks on both sides of the board, same net.
What I found was that I could create the track on one side, but when I switched layer and started the second track, the first one vanished

Disable “Remove Redundant Tracks” option in Interactive Router Settings
