Does V7 have separate entries for Symbol Name and Value?
Is there a preview for what V7 libraries look like?
If you migrated from V6 to V7 how much time/effort was spent on your library?
I’m trying to decide if I want to jump into the deep end…

Kicad libraries come with 7 as long as you follow the recommended installation. Same with settings, they can be carried to 7 if you reply yes to the question asked during installation.
Personal libraries take as long as it takes to “Add Library” through your symbol and footprint editors.
Works the same as 5 to 6, but without the symbol conversions.
It is all pretty harmless.
