Does anybody know what this part is in this schematic?

Hello,

I’ve been designing a pcb for a raspberry-pi-m2-hat-plus but can’t work out what a certain component is in the schematic. I think it’s some sort of connector but I can’t find it when looking at the actual physical device so I can’t work out how to incorporate it into the design. It’s the 77 pin MTSSD03-67MSW337 symbol. I also can’t find any symbols of footprints for it.

It could be the controller…

Could it be possible it’s for 2 different boards?

I’ve attached the schematic.

If anybody can shed some light on this I would appreciate it.

Thanks

this is PCI-E M2 connector
like this

and yes, now they will tell you that this topic does not relate directly to kicad, and they will be right

OK, that makes sense, I see it. The connector for the memory (I’m guessing).

and fair point, I didn’t realise the lack of KiCad. Thanks for the help anyway.

not necessarily for memory, you can implement a lot of it on pcie
