"Do not populate" in replicated schema

Hello all,

KiCAD 8.0.7

I am re-using one schematic sheet by instantiating it twice. I need to define one of the two instances as “Do not populate”. I therefore select the components on that instance and activate the option “Do not populate”. Components are consequently crossed-out.
The problem is this happens as well to the instance I want to populate.

Is there a way of selectively not populating only one instance of the same schema sheet?

Version 8.99, which will lead to v9 within a couple of months, has these for each sheet instance:

Hello. Im now trying to apply this feature with version 9.0. I edit the root level properties of a sheet to Do not Populate but the components on such schema sheet don’t get crossed out.
Was this feature finally brought to version 9.0?
