Hello I have prepared small breakout board and pic controller i have used is of 44 pin. I want to show Pin name near to connector.

Is there way to display pin name in board layout or i have to manually add name to each pin?
The only way I know of is to manually add texts to the silkscreen.
I have thought about this after watching a video of a power user who edits the text files using python scripts.
If you edit the PCB text file and changed “F.Fab” to “F.SilkS” that should make all of the grey pin names now be silk screen.
This could be done in a text editor with a simple search and replace.
I have not tried this but it could be tested on a simple board to prove it out.
